Why harprr exists

harprr started because of a very practical problem.

I have been working alongside Arjuna Oakes, a family friend and an exceptional artist, helping him build his music career. Like many independent artists, we were doing what countless managers and musicians do, building spreadsheets, keeping track of contacts in Excel, emailing festivals, promoters, booking agents, media, and trying to stay on top of who had been contacted, who had replied, who needed following up, and what opportunities were actually moving.

It was messy, time-consuming, and surprisingly disconnected for something so central to building a music career.

The more we worked through it, the clearer it became that most of the available tools were not really built for musicians trying to grow a career. They were built for marketers, sales teams, or businesses with completely different needs.

So, with the help of my business partners Lee Paddock and Neil Hopkins, we started building the tool we wished we had.

harprr is being created as a practical communications and relationship hub for musicians and their teams, a place to manage fans, industry contacts, collaborators, and outreach without juggling spreadsheets, disconnected tools, and endless admin.

At its heart, it is about helping artists stay organized, stay connected, and spend more time making music.
